Fluid:
Provide a suction strainer with a filtering grade of about 100μ (150 mesh). Provide a return line filter of grade 10μm or less on the return line to the tank. (When the pump is used at pressures of 2000 psi or higher, a filter of 10 μm or less is recommended.) Manage hydraulic operating fluid, so contamination is maintained at class NAS10 or lower.
Use hydraulic operating fluid when the operating ambient temperature ranges from 32 to 140°F.
